The park has some great activities in which you can partake, including picnicking, hiking, fishing, taking a few swings in the batting cages, and even playing a round of miniature golf. However, the part of the park gets the most attention has to be the Aquatic Center. It is one of the largest centers of its kind in all of the Midwest.

The Aquatic Center has many different amenities and activities for kids through adults. You can find an Olympic sized swimming pool with two diving boards, as well as a family pool that has some great slides.

The little ones will have a great time in the children’s pool with some interesting additions, such as giant mushrooms, frogs, and snakes on which the kids can play and slide. Another area that the kids will love is the interactive Spray Park.

Parents will be glad to know that there are lifeguards and EMTs on duty to keep everyone safe.

Everyone will have a relaxing time as he or she cruises along the lazy river in his or her raft. For those who want something a little more thrilling will want to try out the speed slide. Those who just want to relax and catch some rays will find plenty of places to sit out in the sunshine.

The park has plenty of lockers where you can keep your personal items that you don’t want to get wet, as well as places to change, and shower. There are restrooms as well.

After playing in the water area, chances are that you and the rest of the family are going to be hungry. The Center has three concession areas where you can get a variety of great food and cool drinks.

You will also be able to buy items at the gift shop and the float stand. If you forget anything such as sunscreen, sunglasses, or flotation devices, you can get them there. In addition, you can rent rafts and tubes.
