These wines include dry, semi-dry, and semi-sweet. You can purchase gourmet foods and wines and gift baskets for those that couldn’t make this year’s vacation with you and your family. After sampling the wines, plan a picnic in the beautiful gardens that surround the winery. They were recently featured in Midwest Living Magazine. Enjoy the mesmerizing waterfall and the pond as you spend a day in the beauty of Bloomington’s finest winery.
After a day at the winery, the next day should be spent at BEAD, Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District. This area of town is filled with flourishing arts, music, theater and museums. There is plenty to do for those that love to be a part of the cultural scene.
If you plan your vacation right and get there in May, you can be a part of the annual Bloomington Early Music Festival. There are local and regional artists that come from all over the state to perform in this one of a kind festival. There are even acclaimed folk musicians that play at the Festival. People come from all over the country to see hear the musicians and enjoy a few days of fun in the sun.
